So I just bought a new pc gamepad. Before installing the cd software that came along with it, I accidently plugged in the USB connection to the pc, which i shouldn't have. Now it's unable to recognize my controller. What should I do ??? I don't want to waste money on a new gamepad, and I want to be able to play my PC games !!!How to fix my Logitech Chillstream PC gamepad controller ???
try this go into start,right click my computer,then left click manage,then click device manager,on the left scroll down until you see usb controllers,i would right click all of them,then click uninstall and restart computer and let windows reinstall all of the usb drivers that was there before you made the mistake.and then try installing the gamepad again,also you may try this first,might try plugging it back in (the game pad),go to control panel,go to printers and other hardware,on the left you will see add hardware and follow the prompts from there.hope this helps.How to fix my Logitech Chillstream PC gamepad controller ???
that's good news. You've plugged it in, and windows has gone ';aha! Something has been plugged in';
But now it's asking ';what on earth is plugged into me?';
So you've got to install that cd software that came with it - specifically the drivers for the gamepad.
Then, probably after a reboot, it should be fine.
