Why does when i try to use my keyboard for project64 it says no controller?

i already have typed in the special setting things for the configure controller plugin thing but even when i save it says that there is no controller what is going on? thanks 4 ur help!Why does when i try to use my keyboard for project64 it says no controller?
Some games were designed to write save data into a controller ';memory'; pak device instead of the cartridge save chip.





Options %26gt; Configure Controller Plugin...


Set the drop-down box on the right of the ';Controller is plugged in'; setting from ';None'; to ';Memory Pak';.





Will emulate reading and writing with the device.
