Is It possible to configure a wired Xbox 360 controller to act as a mouse on the computer? if so.. How?

I know it is possible...And I myself have done some experimenting with things like this, as I'm studying to be an engineer.





You would have to have some sort of program on your computer that allows you to read the inputs that a Xbox controller gives out. And after you have analyzed the commands that a certain button gives on the controller to your computer, you can write your own program for the computer that allows it to interpret the commands and carry out the orders specified by the controller.





This may be a very vague answer, but its kind of the best I can do right now.
