Will the XPlorer controller work with Guitar Hero World Tour?

So, I'm thinking about buying the xplorer controller and Guitar Hero 2, and it'll seal the deal if the controller works with the upcoming Guitar Hero World Tour. Also, what controller was bundled with Guitar Hero III for the Xbox?Will the XPlorer controller work with Guitar Hero World Tour?
I would assume that it would work with all the guitar hero games. (never played the first one so maybe not the first game) The xplorer guitar also works with rock band, but the rock band guitar doesn't work with guitar hero... kinda wierd.





Guitar hero 3 got the wireless gibson guitar. I have it and I love it. Much better then the xplorer controller.Will the XPlorer controller work with Guitar Hero World Tour?
