Is there any way to set up my windows xp pro as a domain controller, without using windows server? Thanks!

It's impossible for XP to be a domain controller. You could always purchase an old version of Server 2000 or 2003 if you need to create a domain environment.

Domain controller ability is built into Server platform of Windows, there is no 3rd party software that will make XP a domain controller. Is there any way to set up my windows xp pro as a domain controller, without using windows server? Thanks!
nope ! windows xp pro is a OS design for use in a office as a workstation not a server
