Do you have to use a classic controller for Ocarina of Time?

i tried plugging in my gamecube controller, held L and R, and the screen said. You will need a classic controller. Plug one into the wii remote or press a to return to the wii menu.Do you have to use a classic controller for Ocarina of Time?

I Use My Gamecube Controller To Play Ocarina Of Time. Just Turn Your Wii Off. Put The GC Controller In. Turn The Wii Back On And Try To Play Ocarina Of Time Again.





The Screen That Says You Need A Classic Controller Always Comes Up When I Play But I Can Still Use My GC Controller Regardless Of That. Maybes Its Just A Tiny glitch Just Just Occcured For No Reason.Do you have to use a classic controller for Ocarina of Time?
Should work just fine, why did you hold down L %26amp; R? I never do that.
